MY ROLE

Visual Designer/Video production/Research Analysis

I LEARNED HOW TO

  • Think critically about how people use technology
  • Work with imagery, video, and sound to create media-based projects
  • Utilize new media art and design concepts as a means of exploration, research, and representation of views and ideas

Problem

In our team, we wanted to a explore a social justice that exists in our daily life and anyone can be a cyber bully. Through our research, we came across cyber-bullying and we thought this problem could affect anyone through the use of technology.  Cyber bullying has become a serious problem for young people and can cause long-term damage to victims and bullies. We thought its  important to stop cyber bullying and get help for the people involved.

GOAL

Even though it seems hard to stop cyber-bullying as its online and it can't be controlled. Our goal in this project is to spread an awareness about cyber-bullying through an  interactive art installation.

SOLUTION

The video summarizes our research findings, and the proposed solution in context.

The Process

In order to have a good view of our project and to organize our thoughts, we created a compelling storyboard for a video prototype that includes key scenes, timing, character/interactions with design, mood, transitions, and shots/camera angles. Also it illustrates key visual design elements.
